Haldon Forest

Haldon Forest lies along the top of the Haldon ridge. Recorded on 17 April 2006.

The three recordings of running water were made at different points along a small stream that cut across one of the main paths. The stream was divided by a concrete pipe that cut underneath the path, and in the third of these recordings you can make out the sound of the water traveling through the hollow tunnel as well of the trickling sound at the other end as it returns to it's natural flow. Sadly the stereo characteristics were lost due to an audio conversion error.
